What We Do

Our Trauma-Informed Systems of Care team:

  • Provides education on how to recognize trauma and toxic stressors and the impact these have on individual and organizational well-being.

  • Assists organizations, systems, and communities in creating and sustaining cultural changes that effectively support people in their growth and healing.

  • Supports organizational leadership to create and support trauma-informed policies and practices that strengthen organizational effectiveness in service delivery and promotes healthy work environments.

Services include:

  • For communities:

    • Awareness training and facilitated conversations to spark community dialogue.

    • Training and support for community members who want to educate others about trauma and its impact.

  • For organizations and systems:

    • Facilitated conversations to determine organizational readiness for change.

    • Organizational assessments to identify areas of strength and areas for improvement.

    • Follow-up assessments to monitor implementation progress and impact of changes made on staff and those they serve.

    • Training for Boards of Directors, Executive and Leadership Teams.

    • Training and facilitation for organizational staff, community coalitions, and community residents.

    • Technical Assistance and facilitation to develop strategic implementation plans.

    • Technical Assistance and Coaching during the implementation process, including policy and practice development support.
