Jennifer Pacic Joins Community Engagement Institute as New Director for the Center for Organizational Development and Collaboration

After an extensive search process, the Community Engagement Institute is pleased to announce that Jennifer Pacic was chosen as the Director of the Center for Organizational Development and Collaboration. Jennifer comes to WSU from her hometown of Denver, Colorado.

Jennifer arrives with extensive experience in working with nonprofits and community coalitions, including starting and running her own nonprofit. She served as an independent contractor for several years, providing organizational consultation services to nonprofits in Colorado. She helped several faith-based organizations create new coursework allowing them to partner with local colleges. Jennifer also helped art-related organizations strategically reach new audiences and helped several nonprofits successfully start. Finally, Jennifer worked with a handful of celebrities build either nonprofits or collaborations - to help raise awareness of peace, equity in all areas and social and political justice.

Scott Wituk, Executive Director of the Community Engagement Institute states, “Given her background, Jennifer will be an immediate asset. She will oversee our portfolio of grants and contracts with local and state nonprofits, community coalitions, and faith-based organizations. She brings several new areas of expertise to our team and looking forward to expanding in several areas.”

Jennifer comments about her new position, “I am amazed at this jewel we have here. The Community Engagement Institute is doing amazing work daily. The variety of work they do helps progress society on all levels and that is close to my heart. I am also very excited to be working with some of our country's brightest and best minds.”
